About Me

Forming from various elements of metal/hardcore, Authors delivers a long awaited mix of feel, agression and creativity. With the latest line-up forming in January of 2007 they have taken old material and concocted it through a new sound for those who favor metalcore technicality and melodic hardcore. Their live shows are spine chilling due to their energy and captivating stage aggression; which originates from pure experience, and most importantly their love for music and familiarity with their material. Never has a band from the "voice" of New Jersey has been so passionate for a status of perfection (in other words...they don’t just put anything together and call it a cool hardcore song with breakdowns).
They have a crave for technicality yet they manage to intertwine symphony, feel and vigorous calls of outrage within their material. You will find them in Ocean County New Jersey. Some call it the "voice" or "throat" of the NJ scene because of the heavy bands that hail. However, Authors will hold that "voice" and leave room for melody and creativity. Authors shows that there is always room for melodic creativity in all forms of music and will not give up the name of their ideal formulas for their genre. *Catch them at their show and this entire description will justify itself within what you will experience*
