This is the official WeWantToAdopt.org MySpace!WeWantToAdopt.org is a website created to help us fund the adoption of our little girl from Russia.Our names are Aaron and Julie, we were married on April 24th, 1999. We just celebrated our 7th anniversary. We have one biological son named Alexander.I got pregnant again last year, but due to reasons unknown to us, we were not meant to meet the baby in this lifetime. Maybe someday. I miscarried in my 7th week and we have been dealing with that loss since July 15th, 2005.Aaron and I discussed, long before we got married, that we both felt a strong need to adopt at least one child if not more. We both share the belief that there are many children that could benefit from our love and strong family upbringing. We grew up in houses full of children (4 siblings each) and yet we still want a big family. :)In March, since I wasn't pregnant yet, I decided to start the research process. After talking to countless couples, all of whom were complete strangers (Thanks guys for answering many personal questions!), reading everything I could about adoption, and many phone interviews with agencies we have decided to adopt a little girl from Russia.We have chosen an agency as well, which has been a huge step in itself. Now we have to complete the application and send them a check for $4400.00. This is where we are at for now. We are hoping to start our Home Study soon. We are currently trying to come up with ways, other than loans, to finance our adoption. We, like most people, do not have $30,000 waiting to be spent. We are cutting costs wherever we can, saving as much as possible each month. I have recently started making Diaper Cakes (on the website for purchase) to help finance the adoption. Our families have also been a big help coming up with fund raising ideas. Any and all ideas are welcome...within reason.
