The Hustle Group

About Me

Hustle Group: The Future of Hip-Hop and R&BThe music industry is at a stand still. Sales are low and quality content is even lower. The people want something more. They want lyrical content that can make the crowd move as much as any trendy dance or snap song. They want hip-hop and R&B music that remembers its origins. They want rappers who are who they say they are. And there is a group of young men that has all of that and more:Introducing The Hustle Group….Dre –Dub (Emcee) Swagger. A certain je ne sais quoi. What ever you want to label his undeniable confidence coupled with his irresistable charm, 23-year-old Andrew “Dre-Dub” Davis II has it, cherishes it and refuses to relinquish it. Born and raised in Hartford, CT. The recent college graduate and emcee is awing hip-hop lovers in Chicago and Hartford with his lyrical prowess and ability to move the crowd and is ready to prove to everyone else that he is an entity to be reckoned with. He rhymes like a vet, but more importantly he rhymes like a man comfortable in his own Timbs.Ro (Singer) His voice is like no other. The depth of a seasoned professional and the style of an urban play boy Rotimi Akinosho, better known as Ro, is prone to rock the crowd and make the ladies swoon. At the ripe age of 19 he can appeal to the younger teen audience while his maturity, range, and lyrical talent help him woo the older generations. While most in the genre are quick to lay praise to Michael Jackson as their idol, Ro looks to the revolutionary lyrics of Bob Marley and creative genius of Stevie Wonder for inspiration. Writing songs that can appeal to people from varying backgrounds, his versatility ensures his longevity.J. LoonZ (Emcee) Folks seem to be looking for the antidote for the current state of hip-hop. And J.LoonZ is the Solution they’ve been waiting for. Equipped with metaphors, similes, and anecdotes complex enough to be considered underground but a delivery smooth and catchy enough to be mainstream, Jordan Looney is ready to take the world or rap by storm and prove that the resurrection was birthed in the Twin Cities. His focus isn’t being the best rapper alive (though he is clearly on his way), but rather creating quality music that reaches a broad audience without loosing hold of reality. Thus he can create club bangers and not forget to educate listeners about what’s going on around the globe.
