Blood Covered started off as a side project between Dave Lang and Don MacLean. Don was writing lyrics and drum parts for songs while in Iraq and Afganistan that needed music. While on military leave Don would get together with Dave and work on recording. Dave would record Don's drum parts and vocals and then write guitar parts. As Don was nearing the end of his third tour he talked to Dave about making a band out of the project when he got out of the Army. Dave started playing drums for another project with Jessie Scott on guitar. The two projects merged and became what is now Blood Covered. Jessie is a sick guitar player who brought the band in a new direction, making us heavier and more defined as a deathcore band. Jessie's influences are bands like Napalm Death, Pantera, Lamb of God, and Cannibal Corpse.
Blood Covered is a very political band and unlike most political metal bands, we are conservative in our beliefs and some members have strong religous beliefs. However we are not a Christian band by any means.eat more chicken
