About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Jen and I'm a full-time Computer Science student at UBC.Quick Bio : I grew up in Victoria, BC, and got a Bachelor of Music in Composition in '99 - then I took a few years off to decide what to do and turned into a computer geek somewhere along the way...Now I spend most of my time programming, doing web design, and arts & crafts.
I've got rather an assorted list of hobbies, including making corsets and costumes (the green corset is one I made for a pirate costume, and the black one with the leather wings is part of a demoness costume I made) :
My main hobby at the moment is online freebies. My most recent freebie is a 22" Samsung Flatscreen monitor, which is bigger than my TV! Here's info about the rest of my freebies
I also like to knit, and lately I've been knitting socks :
Another interest is Astronomy, this is my new telescope but due to Vancouver's CONSTANT rain I haven't had a chance to use it yet :
Random pics of my pets :
Stuff I'm working on at the moment :
My website www.freebiescout.com - all about online freebie sites, including how I got three free iPods online.
Memorizing PI to 1000 decimal places (last year I had it to 500 but took a break, so I'm back at about 350 or so at the moment).

How I got THREE FREE IPODS!!!

I'm a huge fan of online freebies but as a Canadian it can be hard to find out which legit sites are available to us.  After a year of researching I'm quite an expert, and I've received over $250...
