Metal songwriter, thrash vocalist, bassist and guitarist, Gale Cartwright Jr. along with song writer arranger and keyboards and drummer Carlos Portillo, along with guitarist Carlos Gomez have been together in the El Paso International music scene for the past 15 years. The moment they met started producing together, the thrash -gothic metal group INHUMATION was born. The Duo released their first CD and EP cassette recording in May 1991. Self-produced and engineered INHUMATION released their long awaited production entitled, "BURIAL." A blend of heavy thrash metal and new are some of the apparent musical styles, which combine the unique influences of our boarder cities to produce the original sound INHUMATION. " Reality of Schizophrenia," starts out with a heavy hard-driving metal rhythm section, and morbid lyric spouting out from beneath, then going into slow kick for the angels to sing to the beast. In contrast, "Candles Enlight," starts off with new age synthesized acoustic guitar riff, morbid mellow and haunting soft laying down BURIAL ground for the keeper to recite the poem. Undoubtedly, INHUMATION acquires a well -defined, heavy thrash gothic metal new age musical style.
