METAL! Is there something else?Seriously, I’ve been a metalhead for the last 9 years and I’ll be one for the rest of my life. I like almost all kinds of metal music, however my speciality and my favourite genre is BLACK METAL.Black Metal is not just music; it’s a whole movement of Satan, from Satan, to Satan and for Satan.Black Metal is unholy war, pure chaos, terror, havoc… mayhem! It’s an anthem of misanthropy, dominion and hatred, the symphony of Apocalypse, the sound of Armageddon.Black Metal is pain, dead, violence, brutality and bloodshed.Black Metal is not complaining about the system, society, politics and/or religion… Black Metal is action! It’s deed! It’s cracking the system, spitting at the scum with merciless scorn.Black Metal is not just playing fast, but is the art of punishing an instrument with supremacy, technique and elegance, like handling war craft.Black Metal is not playing for people, but glancing at them with relentless scorn, hatred and despise; casting the spells, mantras and words of their demise.Black Metal is selfishness, originality and doing only one’s desire; without caring about others’ opinions and expectations. Black Metal accepts an evolution in shape, method and technique, but not in concept and philosophy. Black Metal is an ongoing movement, reinventing and evolving to styles far away of the comprehension of those who still paint their faces as a panda bear, adopting a “trve†and “holier than thou†label, with a dualistic, theistic and ignorant diabolist philosophy and playing the same stuff of 20 years ago.To those morons Black Metal is dead and we are in a superior level for we reject mediocrity, conformism and lack of perspective.Black Metal is not for the herd, but for the wolves that slaughter and dismember the sheep. It’s hammering the cross, desecrating the dying repressing philosophies and scorching the bastards with fire while laughing with sardonic wrath, for the only church that illuminates is the one that burns!Upside down I turn the cross of God, raise a cup filled with the purest angels’ blood and make a toast for Black Metal!!!Hail Svart Metall!Hail Satan!Besides Black Metal and its variations (Old School, NSBM, Pagan, Symphonic, Melodic, Suicidal, Industrial...) I listen to other sub-genres like Norse-Core, Death, Brutal Death, Death Melodic, Grind and Gore, Industrial, Folk, Pagan, Viking, Trash, Neo-trash, Avantgarde, Experimental, Heavy, Doom, Dark, Gothic, Industrial, Hardcore and Metalcore... even some Nu-Metal, Punk, Crust, Screamo and Emo-Core.Also Hard Rock, Space, Stone, Alternative and Progressive Rock.I despise Power Metal, repetitive Gothic and stupid Emo; so happy metalheads, depressed suicidal goth teenagers and emo kids, stay away for I'm not going to accept you on my contact list at least that you prove to be worthy of it; if not go look for identity, trends and social acceptance in another place.Something else... Cradle of Filth is not the best Black Metal band of the world, it's not even Black Metal, so CoF's fans are not welcome either, your lack of good taste and music knowledge is insulting.I know what's my favourite genre and what fulfills me, nevertheless I'm always open to listen to new and different things, so at the end I can say wether it's worth listening to it or not. That doesn't make me a poser, but an open minded and non-ignorant listener.I've learned a lot about rock and metal co-producing and d.j.ing the Ultrasónica radio show back in San Luis PotosÃ, that's why I like listening to a wide variety of styles and bands, analizing them and being a critic, but a harsh one.I also listen to industrial music, electro dark, EBM, power noise, synth pop and future pop. I'm not into psycho trance, nor I am a drug addict or a raver, just to make it clear.Classical, Neo-Classical, Baroque, Middle Age Music, Opera, Movies' Soundtracks, Jazz, Neo-Jazz, Acid Jazz and Alternative Pop (Björk rocks!) are also part of my musical taste.I'm not going to put in here a list of the bands I like, I have thousands of cd's and it's impossible for me to mention them all, but day by day I'll try to add to my list those bands I listen to. So you can just look at my contact list in order to know what I like.It will be easier for me to accept people with similar music preferences, however, I'm open to every kind of people and I respect almost every musical style.
