On May 14, 1982 a star was born. No, not a new star in the sky but a
future street poet for the world. Jvon Bishop was born to bring the rap
game full circle back to the Bronx.He along with his twin brother, Quinn Donn, was raised in a strict,
religious Bronx home with rules to be obeyed. As with most youth a
sense
of rebelliousness took hold and Jvon Bishop had to let the world know
who he was. At the same time rap was hitting its stride to infamy and
the sounds of Rakim and Big Daddy Kane took control of Jvon Bishop in a
major way. When Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Pac and Twista hit the scene Jvon
Bishops fate was sealed. His calling was to be a rapper and speak to
the masses and affect the world through his music.Through Strategic Minds Entertainment (Jvon Bishop independent
record label) In 2003-2004 he put out two albums Sacrifice &
Survival and Vengeance Iz Mine all while shopping his demo for
a deal. After several talks with labels he decided to take his
career in his own hands and make his success happen on his own. He
obtained a manager, and formed a strategy to one
day
have the labels battle for his attention. Having appeared on a mixtape
hosted by a longtime friend, Kochece J.R. Writer vs. J Hood
mixtape,
he further added to his resume and garnered attention from the streets
of New York and beyond. He is now prepping for the worldwide release of
his album U Cant Pleez Everyone. Its release has a lot of fans
and music industry execs in great anticipation. In the meantime his
fans
can hear him on the mixtape Kings of the Bronx with longtime
partner in crime from the Bronx, Mickey Factz.
