About Me

THE BEATS-TRUMENTALIST!!!!
Truthfully, this is going to be a combined bio incorporating where I'm at as a producer/artist and where the collective, PARTNERSHIP OF SOUND is at.
I'll skip the semi-mandatory ode to how I'm looking to teach or lead the young ones... ["Actions", "Louder" and "Words" come to mind]
I'll skip the semi-mandatory ode to how I've been taken in by music from a very young age [forget age four and the likes, I'm talking feotal stages... :)))] and go straight to the crux.
For me, my ears are the initial receptors prior to the sound waves being interpreted by a combination of my mind, heart, spirit/mood, get-down- or head-nod reflex... not in any particular order.
So, once it sounds right and the other faculties [stated above] can take something from it, then I'm with it!
It often results in an eclectic taste [or ability to partake] in music.
This is probably evident in my production and body of work.
Is there a certain spiritual [not necessarily restricted to a "higher-being" notion] dimension to feeling music? I'm in the "Hell, yeah" school of thought on this one.
Factor in a dream and aspiration to make music that moves people [if you're painting a mental picture of booty-shakin in some hot/sweaty/rowdy club then you've probably taken the wrong exit on this highway of thought... don't get it twisted, I like a club banger...], then you start to touch on how/why the PARTNERSHIP OF SOUND came to be.
The objective is very simple - We'll make records that transcends the boundaries of genre, geography.
I did not, however, say age.
When you're growing up, you can't wait to leave home and experience the world on your own. The last thing you want to do is shoot the breeze with your parents. :)
You get to a certain (st)age in your life, and you begin to look forward to going back home, and actually spending time with the same parents... God-willing, they are still there.
I'm not drawing a parallel between the role of a parent and the music we make, NO WAY.
What we create may not get you wildin' out. It's more for when you're still/steady/relaxed [going back home]...
There are some who always want to [and do] go back home - toast to you. And to those who experience the world and finally go back home - toast to you... either way, the PARTNERSHIP OF SOUND will be there waiting...
