Our Mission/Purpose
The primary mission and purpose of Hip Hop Economy Network, Inc. is to remove the negative stereotypes and characteristics that have been associated with the hip hop culture. In doing so we would replace these reputations by educating our community with the facts on how the hip hop culture positively impacts the communities it serves such as its economy, employment and entrepreneurship. Extra curricular activities for our youth, racial harmony and unity will be included with the earned support and guidance of its community.
Strategy
Hip Hop Economy Network, Inc. will provide constructive outlets in the form of forums and networks for teenagers and young adults. It will allow them to positively express themselves, promote the spirit of entrepreneurship, the establishment of summits, apprenticeships, and after school/summer programs for aspiring youths, while also providing academic support and other enrichment activities.
Our Goals
-Music Entrepreneurship education programs taught in our school systems
-Hip Hop community taking responsibility for its actions
-Driving the Hip Hop culture to be a voting community
-Developing more awareness programs to promote the awareness of HIV/AIDS education
-To partner with corporate America to develop apprenticeship programs for the hip hop culture. i.e. designing sneakers, designing programs/software for video games
-Promote the understanding of the Hip Hop culture
-Promote positive impacts on the Hip Hop culture
-Educate our community with the facts about the hip hop culture and the positive effects it has on the communities it serves. i.e. economy, employment and entrepreneurship.
-Help the hip hop community understand wealth management and generation wealth
-Developing money management initiatives to educate about stocks, bonds, mutual funds
-To develop a new American dream of CEOs, Entrepreneurs, owners
-Lobby radio stations to play more diverse hip hop
-Have the Hip Hop community start being the deciding votes in the political arena
-To help fight against poverty
