Feeling and living the groove!

About Me

Well, what can I say? My role as a bass player is to link the rhythm and the melody. While sometimes to be pure rhythm and other times to be pure melody. But then there are times to be counter-melody or anti-rhythm. Every situation varies. That is what I have learned in my 20 years of playing. I have been a part of bands or playing situations incorporating punk, funk, improv, experimental, pop, blues, rock, jazz, folk, gospel, covers and originals. I have played in an array of venues: churches, clubs, bars, pubs, youth conferences, coffehouses, sidewalks, basements, a zoo, colleges, schools. I thoroughly enjoy playing music, whether it be writing, accompanying, rehearsing or just jamming. Music is a good thing!
