About Me

Former Idiot Savant members, GeeKay, Miles and Brendan, formed Eyelid Picture Show with an eye (pardon the pun) to making good electronic music that wasn't restricted to just one genre of music. Why stick to producing the same thing over and over again when we can have fun with all forms of music? Of course there are a few self imposed limits that we decided on - technopolka probably won't be high on our list of musical priorities. Nor will Mongolian throat rock for that matter.Now a solo act, the Eyelid Picture Show is GeeKay - producer, composer, multi-instrumental talent (sort of). It should be noted that Miles and Brendan are still his best mates and that they still go out beering it up at the drop of a hat. In short - GeeKay is from West England/Wales and has sung and played guitar in various bands and in various styles since he was 15. Before that he was lumbered with a violin in the local school orchestra. He's played it all, from pyschedelic space rock to trad Irish folk and even including stint in a covers band.div

Sounds Like: Hmm, a bit tricky this one. The Eyelid Picture Show sound is probably closest to Meat Katie, Plump DJs, Bitrok and has a bit of trance thrown in for good measure.
