Kayo Chingonyi writes poetry, fiction and the occasional song. He has been writing poetry for eight years and performing his poems for five of those eight in venues as diverse as Buckingham Palace, Shakespeare’s Globe, Tate Modern, The Poetry Café, Stratford Circus and Battersea Arts Centre.He is a third year undergraduate in English Literature at The University of Sheffield. During term time he runs a poetry night called ‘Word Life’ with the aim of showcasing the most talented poets in and around the steel city.
