Also, the actors from my favorite shows; Kiefer Sutherland, Zack Braff,...and others. Big screen actors such as Ewan McGregor, Drew Barrymore, Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Bruce Willis, Kate Winslet....and many more. Members of my favorite bands; 30 Seconds To Mars, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Metallica...
Wow, where to start. I like so many different genres of music it's ridiculous. Basically, you could say I like everything from Led Zeppelin to Green Day to Jewel to Christina Aguilera and back again. I'm not really into rap. I like some R&B. I like alternative like Nirvana, STP, Pearl Jam, (my favorite song is 'Black'). But I'm a rock chick at heart. I LOVE Zeppelin, The Doors, Blue Oyster Cult, The Ramones, Queen, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac(Lindsey Buckingham is a God)....classic rock is excellent. I really like Staind, Foo Fighters, Sound Garden, Disturbed, Fuel, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Evanescence, Audioslave, AFI, Linkin Park, The White Stripes, Three Days Grace, Velvet Revolver, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Korn, U2, Lacuna Coil, Radiohead, White Zombie, Nine Inch Nails...SO many others. Right now these bands are on my iPod playlists that I listen to the most: Thursday, The Verve, Alesana, Saosin, Bleed the Dream, Thrice, Flyleaf, So They Say, Mayday Parade, Paramour, Soilwork, Kill Hannah, Alkaline Trio, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Classic Case, Jack's Mannequin, Every Avenue, Papa Roach, Finger Eleven, Taking Back Sunday, The Bled, Seether, Idlewild, Denali, My American Heart, A Static Lullaby. I have also fallen for 30 Seconds To Mars, thanks to my sister who has the hots for the drummer Shannon Leto. Jared Leto has a great voice. Their sound is amazing. Breaking Benjamin is also a favorite. I heard "Breath" on 92.3 K-Rock and right away I went to iTunes to purchase it. I ended up buying all 3 of their albums. They're really great. I also love My Chemical Romance, they are AWESOME. And I love that they're from Jersey. I grew up listening to Guns & Roses, Candlebox, Derek & the Dominos; Eric Clapton, Alice In Chains, Motley Crue, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi(I am a Jersey girl, after all), The Police, Queensryche, Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Black Sabbath, Ozzie, Iron Maiden, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Skid Row, The Misfits, Black Flag, Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith.... I could go on & on. I loved Warrant as a kid, I'm not sure why and that faze has passed.(thank God). My taste in music is very eclectic. I like classical like Pachelbel, Mozart, Beethoven. My dad raised us listening to Elvis and my mom loved The Beatles & Elton John, and so do I. I Love Billie Holiday & B.B. King. Also, I enjoy latin music, my favorite being Brasilian music because my family is Brasilian.
Like my music, the movies I like are varied as well. I like movies that make me laugh, cry, scream, whatever. Here are a few of my all time favorites: The Princess Bride, E.T., 8MM, The Fifth Element, Hostage, Forest Gump, Leon The Professional, Mystic River (Sean Penn is fantastic) I also loved him in a film with Robert De Niro I think it was called We're no Angels, The X-Men movies, Spiderman movies, Superman movies, Underworld, The Blade movies, Austin Powers movies(Goldmember was my favorite). My favorite romantic comedy is French Kiss I also love Meg Ryan in Joe vs the Volcano with Tom Hanks. My favorite tragic love story is Moulin Rouge followed very closely by Titanic. I loved Johnny Depp in Finding Neverland, Mel Gibson in Hamlet was brilliant. 300 was awesome, I love Gerard Butler, Dear Frankie was beautiful. I also like animated movies like Shrek, I laughed so hard the first time I saw it I fell off the couch! The Incredibles was great and I took my niece to see Ice Age 2, it was good but the first was better.
Most weeknights there is a show I love to watch. Scrubs, Supernatural, Lost, 24, Medium, House. I'm surprised I can keep track of all the characters and story lines. I also like shows on decorating and home repair, TLC and HGTV. I like Dirty Jobs and MythBusters on the Discovery channel. I don't really care for reality shows but there's one on TLC called Miami Ink that I try not to miss. And now LA Ink. I LOVE Kat Von D, she's amazing. I wish I could afford to have her do some of my tattoos. -- I love Fuse tv. The Sauce, Steven's Untitled Rock Show. I catch up on all my favorite bands videos watching Loaded and have found new bands to love, as well.
I LOVE Dean Koontz. He's amazing!!! He is my all time favorite author. My favorite of his stories is probably Strangers, although The Door to December comes in a close second. I was visiting my sister at college years ago and I got bored so she threw me the book The Servants of Twilight, by Dean Koontz and I've been a fan ever since. My other favorite authors are in the who I'd like to meet section. I also love fantasy. Barbara Hambly has a collection of novels, a quartet, the first being Dragonsbane. If you love the world of magic and dragons then these books are for you. I really love The Chronicles of Narnia, the BOOKS. The movie sucked compared to reading the actual stories. The Harry Potter books are great. The Lord of the Rings collection is definately worth reading. Again, however, as good as the movies are, nothing beats reading the stories. I also love books about vampires, witches and magic. Christine Feehan has a series of books about vampires, though she refers to them as Carpathians. They are all really good. She also has a series about a group of 7 sisters, all witches, all with their own magical abilities. Really good read. Maggie Shayne has a series of vampire books, very different from what Christine Feehan does but equally entertaining. I love stories that are dark, sinister and sexy. If you're into what makes you weep, try My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Oh my God, I cried buckets. Such a real and heartfelt story. And so tragic. Another I'd recommend is Shadow Man by Cody Mafadyen and it's sequel The Face of Death. This guy has a way of writing where you feel he's tearing at your very soul. The way he describes things and events gave me the chills. When he describes how the characters are feeling, their pain and torment...I cried for them as if their pain were my own. He is AMAZING.
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.
The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.
