Movies, music, writing, truth, love, and italian food....but not in that order.
Well, of course I always welcome new friends. I know that true friends are few and far between, but I also know that it’s impossible to guess where you might discover them.
And I am open to networking and cultivating business relationships as well.
And also, I think sometime soon I’d like to meet someone special. I harbor no fantasies that MySpace is the best place to do this, but why close the door to any possibility.
That person would challenge me spiritually, intellectually, and physically. They would know who they are, and not be afraid of it, or apologize for it.
I don’t believe that life is a race. And I don’t believe that "things" make us happy, and I need someone who is content with what they have…not someone who is constantly looking for the bigger, better deal.
I'd like someone who is decisive and smart and clever, but also kind and nurturing…who keeps me on my toes with their wit and sarcasm, and then disarms me with their warmth and passion.
And I want someone who is deeply truthful…because to me, truth is the most important thing of all.
I want someone who brings the best out in everyone they touch.
Of course, I want the perfect person. And I don’t believe perfect exists. Basically, I want someone who loves animals and children and God. Who is considerate of others. And who is appreciative of the little things…the sanctity of the little things…a touch, a gesture, and time together. Because really, when everything else dissolves away, the little things are all we have.
Of course, until I find that person that knocks me on my ass, I'm just going to keep having fun. ;)
