Jody was born on August 6th, and he grew up in NewRochelle NY, He graduated from Yale University (NewHaven) NewYork. Hailing from New Rochelle, Jody has always had a fascination with music, playing just about every instrument there was available at his school, not that he was any good at it. It was at the age of 13 when he came across some turntables at a house party in The Bronx and from that day, was hooked, watching Dj’s like Grandmaster Flash, Jazz Jay, Kool Dj Herc,Bam bambaataa and not forgetting the late Jam Master Jay who was always a favorite of his.Jody used to buy Dj Herc's tapes go home and copy the mix untill he had it down to a tee, Needles to say, the guitar and piano gathered some dust for some many years. Jody started playing Hip - Hop parties, some small local venues and a pirate radio station called WBLS FM and KISS 100 FM with an inspiring DJ called Marly Marl who was from the South Bronxs, which was fun, although dangerous at times.” In the summer of 1995 Jody managed and Dj’d at the UK club night Juicy at a club called Valbonnes in Maidehead.After Juicy Jody spent the next few years Djing at Suger N Spice, which took the crew around the Uk, New York and Canada . Later was offered a position at Kanja sunset bar, Space, El Divino and Eden in Ibiza. A year later he got togather with old friend Nigal Neal and Tony Di-Bart, who like Jody, was getting itchy feet to start writing music and set up a studio, so Feet 1st Recordings was born.In 2000, Jody played the Ministry Of Sound Ibiza, and just after, was offered a job at mostwanted Dj Artist Management company. Mostwanted are agents for DJ’s Anne Savage, John 00 Fleming, Lisa Pin-up and Tidy Boys. Whilst working in A&R, and DJ management, and getting his first taste of making his first remix.
