Emerged from the limbos of a hidden parallel world, a particular formation that develops a sound as a reaction on the cleanness that seems to have taken control of our congeners.
For those who love extreme music, this patronymic as a reference to the high BPM they pour out, is not unknown. For the others, it won’t stay like that much longer.
Born in 1998 out of the union of Gjalp (Gothic, General Dub) and Didier Ambact (the drummer of formations like Requiem, Treponem Pal and Micropoint), they will be joined in 2004 by Nitroben (the guitarist of Stupéflip, Collapse, Marousse and General Dub).
Since its beginning, Fast Forward merges styles like hardcore, metal and industrial, working out a universe shaped like a sound guerrilla, where all kinds of kicks seem to be permitted. Maxis and ep’s follow up each other on the labels Xunk, Moloko +, Epileptik, Toolbox, PKG, Epiteth …
Revolution goes its way driven by punching beats, inflammatory guitars and devastating vocals. Walls tremble each time they pass by. Ears get hauled over the coals.
Fast Forward develops music without concessions that sees crash the fears and agonies of a world in decay, approaching chaos each time a little more, not willing to give a message of any kind.
Inspired by Gallic writings from the middle-ages (telling the story of the Gallic Kingdom, mixed up with Celtic mythology), origin of the title Mabinogion, the new opus of Fast Forward is a dive into the mould that finds its energy in the rage, deeply buried in each one of us, that we had to learn to canalise, in a daily life governed with kicks of the ruler and codes we had to bend ourselves to.
A music that draws upon the roots of our history that some of us nowadays try to change or make forget by the means of a galloping globalization, erecting the structures of a new egalitarian and totalitarian society, where the good taste will be the privilege of a certain elite.
To support the diversity and the open-mindedness even if it means losing ourselves in a maze of confusions, texts alternate languages, switching from German to Gallic, passing by English and French, primitive and warlike odes that call for the obscure forces of reason.

Issu des limbes d’un monde parallèle enfoui, une formation pas comme les autres, élabore un son en réaction au polissage ambiant, qui semble s’être accaparé de nos congénères.
Pour les amoureux de musiques extrêmes, ce patronyme en référence
aux BPM élevés qu’ils déversent, n’est pas inconnu. Pour les autres, il
ne devrait pas le rester très longtemps. Né en 1998 de l’union de
Gjalp (guitariste-chanteuse de Gothic) et de Didier Ambact, batteur pour des formations telles que Treponem Pal ou Micropoint, ils se sont vus rejoindre en 2004 par Nitroben, guitariste pour Stupéflip, Collapse, General Dub.
Depuis ses débuts Fast Forward fusionne les genres : HARDCORE, METAL et INDUS, élaborant un univers en forme de guérilla sonique, où tous les coups semblent permis. La révolution est en route à coups de rythmiques coups de poing, de guitares incendiaires et de vocaux dévastateurs. Les murs tremblent à chacun de leur passage. Les oreilles en prennent pour leur grade.
Fast Forward développe une musique sans concession qui voit entrer en collision les peurs et les angoisses d’un monde en déliquescence, s’approchant chaque fois un peu plus du chaos, sans pour autant chercher à livrer un
message quelconque.
Une musique qui puise dans les racines de notre histoire que certains aujourd’hui cherchent à changer et nous faire oublier par le biais de la mondialisation galopante, élevant les structures d’une nouvelle société égalitariste et totalitaire, où le bon goût serait l’apanage d’une certaine élite.
Pour appuyer la diversité et l’ouverture d’esprit quitte à nous perdre dans un dédale de confusions, les textes alternent les langues, passant de l’allemand au gaulois en faisant un détour par l’anglais et le français, odes primitives et guerrières qui font appel aux forces obscures de la raison.
::DISCOGRAPHIE::
L'album "Mabinogion", sorti en Octobre 2007 sur Ozore Age, est le deuxième du groupe après "Public Disorder", sorti en 2001 sur le label allemand Moloko+.
"Public Disorder" faisait suite à une série de vinyles chez les labels alors naissant Epileptik et Toolbox. D'autres vinyles sortiront entre les deux albums, notamment chez Psychik Genocide, Epiteth, Karnage, Golghott, TerrorNoize Industry...
