EPILOGUE

NACHTPSALM is the name of the project, where my long forgotten and band neglected laments ,are hidden in the dephs of my harddisk.These songs should not rest in peace - because they were part of mylife and part of my need of expression. In the Course of time my mind widened and i got a broad view in finding joy in different kinds of music, and as the years passed by i developed an eclectic musical understanding trying combining all things, i like, under one name - Each influence has its own special abillity of expressing moods and feelings . - harshness, power and brutallity from METAL, marching rythtms from INDUSTRIAL and EBM, awe and might from CLASSIC orchestral work an SCORES, melody , the language of the heart, from GOTHIC-Rock and 80..s POP, theatralical structures from MUSICAL are the ingrediences of my taste .
Since my band years i was confronted with concepts and and restrictive democratism. - Although my songs got good reviews they were either too heavy or too soft ,- too much keys - too much singing or at last unplayable with our technical possibillities.
We are all living on borrowed time and so my time has come to leave traces in the digital mud to witness my living, loving and leaving for music and life.

HISTORY :
Beginnig with "DIVINATION" in 1991 (16 years old) we developed an interessting style mix, influenced by bands like paradise lost, iron maiden, candlemass and biohazard in which years later bands like Soilwork, Amorphis and Pyogenesis became famous (o.k.....for real they had the better songs and playing skills :-) ). We released 2 MCDs with good reviewes even in ROCKHARD and METAL HAMMER, EVIL MESSAGE -Zine .
We split as we went our walk of life (study, work, girls...).
In the following years i was spending my time by producing songs for friends and working on my songs untill i got a place on X-TRA ORDINARY SAMPLER with the Song "NACHTPSALM" - i called myyself at this time CHIMERA.
In the year 2000 i got invited by the band ABSENCE (Pagan, Black-Metal).
(Mayr Klaus, Berger Ruloef, Ralph Fingerlos, Gerald Polda )After Klaus (vox,guit) left the band - Manfred Unterweger joined to replace the guit and BATU (the voiceraper from bosporus - vocalist of CENOTAPH (turkye)(check out their brutal stuff)) spent his art to our music.
As Klaus left we lost our name and so we first played many gigs under the name "TOTENTANZ" . With BATUS voice our Black metal turned into something more deep, slow and brutal - to something we finally called "BLUTMOND".
With BLUTMOND we released the MCD "...of sorrow pain and anger". in my eyes it was too early for releasing a CD because we needed time to find ourself, but this piece is the perfect demonstration that democracy does not work for mankinds sake :-).. We got some good, more bad, and even ugly reviews for this MCD. Well - even bad things are part of history.
After the CD-Release and playing local support for SIX FEET UNDER we also split up. (work, time, distance, rehearsal room...no,at this time - no girls)
Remaining with Ruelof and Jürgen (both former SOULSEARCH members !!) Gerry (HOPE EQUALS RAIN, COLLAPSE 7) and later Berni i did some interesting songs which never became released (somewhere between Entombed, White Zombie and Slipknot) under the name of FLEISCHFLÖTE (porn-crossover :-)). But our concept never developed bigger because of eternal search for vocal artists (except few great session with the mighty Thom from OUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON US (and again another great band from the dephs of austrian woods , SOULSEARCH (seems for a short period that we had been a Soulsearch reunion band (3 ex-members and me :- )) All capital printed Band are worth checking out on myspace - they are great musicians with heart, soul, individual and interessting style!
And again.....we split up (work, family, (girls with family :-))
I began this myspace site to bring my band-neglected songs to life again. I want to save and renew these parts of my personal history. Although i had been singing to my songs in former years i had difficulties in recording at home (neigbourhood :-)). So myspace gave me the possibillity to meet music interested people , - to learn from them,- and supporting each other - using the cyber-space to overwhelme the natural borders.
In July 2008 i met Jake from PADDED WALLS (U.S.A.) - a talented young man with a professional attitude, a voice i liked, and a lot of drive (and even the love for creating absinthe - pregnant lyrics) . Since then he will do the work with the english main-vocals while i can now concentrate on things i am able to do much better (for example writing german :-)So be tensioned how my next songs will sound like - i don not know it even by myself
Time flies, time passes and so does the tide - drowning my heart with sorrow and drying my heart with wrath !
