About Me

PROJECTS:
FESTERING EARSORES (199?-1998)
This project started as just a fun pastime making my computer make really crappy sounding punk songs. It was sometime in the mid 90's that I actually started to make some half decent sounding music, but it was still crap and didn’t have any sort of real sound to it. I was mostly using tracking programs in DOS mode, It was in mono and sounded like a it was in a vacuum tube and that just didn’t cut it, so I kind of gave up. A few years passed and The tracking programs started to sound a lot better. I started messing around again and tried a cheesy sounding Punk/Metal sound, but the huge lack of good sounding guitars just plainly pissed me off. I did a few projects with my songs with a couple different guitarists, but nothing ever panned out. The only thing that came from those days was a cheesy Demo CD with horrible production sound called "Festering Earsores"

After Toiling with tracking programs for way too long I was introduced to a program that changed everything for me. This program was Acid. It was the first version of the software and a friend of mine bought it. He hated it and couldn't figure out how to use it for anything better than a few laughs. He gave it to me and I ended up making some pretty messed up music, still struggled with guitars, and it’s still sounded like crap. It was suggested by another friend, to try writing techno songs. Well I thought maybe, but punk rock was my first love! However, I was digging Underworld and Front Line Assembly pretty hard at the time, so I thought why not. What happened was outstanding, I finally found something that actually sounded real for me. The Results were what is compiled into my first CD “JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT”. I wrote a bunch of junk between 1999 and 2003 and trashed most of it. What I was happy with has been put on the CD.
After 2003 I ended up taking a bunch of time away from writing music. And restarted in 2007, I wrote my next CD over about a 8 month time period and called it “IT CREPT FROM THE PIT”. I felt better about this CD and was ready to take a little more time off until I stumbled across a copy of Reason. Since that day my writing has never been the same, and I have been writing pretty steady since releasing “BEYOND REASON” in 2007 and most recently “IN SICKNESS AND HEALTH”.
