About Me

wires is an ultra-bleak, minimal chamber duo from the town of evesham. kindering a brother / sister musical relationship, wires strive to create haunting, yet nostalgic passages that combine the contrasts of warm shimmering sunlight with desolate pillars of darkness.

wires have produced 4 improvised recordings to date, which are all freely available for download above.

wires' first live shows occurred in december 2005 with the performance of a 35 minute piece, vaguely based upon the above recordings and enhanced with the use of live audio sampling, layering and various effects.

as of 2007, wires are currently inactive in recording material and regular shows; yet are always open for inquiries to any future performances or collaborations. please email [email protected] or [email protected]. thanks
