Profile Generator"Chang chih-ho loved to drink wine, and when inhebriated used to play his lute all night long without resting. One evening there suddenly appeared a grey crane, which danced round about him. Chang then took his lute, and riding on its back, disappeared into the sky."Robert Hans van Gulik - 'The Lore of the Chinese Lute'I make this music as a reaction to the things I have experienced, thought and tried to understand - and things I fear are waiting. I guess I feel the need to create this kind of reactionary soundtrack events in my life and the lives of others, from large scale, dramatic tragedies to simple, often beautiful things that exist in the micro-reality of personal awareness. This is music for a hushing helpessness. And the hours are becoming shorter and packed with more pressure and doubt. Nature, truth and sincerity are concepts that seem to matter less and less. This is music for sleep or reflection... for quiet hate or dismay... but sometimes for contentment and for just being. There is a large emphasis on ambience in almost every track I've made - some albums being totally ambient - but as my musical influences range from ambient and IDM to post rock and metal, there is always room for something more full-on and intense with full instrumentation.[Discography so far]::
