About Me

I would adopt everything at the SPCA.I smile always.I'm a hopeless romantic and believe everyone deserves to fall in love.I'm hilarious, but am frequently the only one who thinks so.I believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.I cook, I bake and I'm crafty (as in I like making stuff).I'm Martha Stewart.My favorite flowers are white lilies.I'm addicted to microwave popcorn, red licorice and coffee.I love cartoons.I can't eat anything with wheat, yeast, rye, oats or barley in it.I cook marshmallows on candles.Sushi...good.Tequila shots and red wine, just not together, are my poison.Ben & Jerry's...mmmm.Spiders creep me out.Cuddling is the best.I sleep with 4 pillows and 5 blankets in the middle of the bed.I still check my closet for monsters.My favorite hair holders are pens.I never leave my house without my cell phone or keys, but often forget everything else.I usually have 2 or more pairs of shoes in my car.I twirl my hair when i'm sleepy.My feet, fingers and nose are almost always cold.My eyes turn from sky blue to ocean-green when I cry.I still dig VHS tapes.I love the smell of fresh laundry and wood fires.I love snow but hate being cold.I like rain, playing in it is fun.Hide and seek is still the best game ever.I love post-it notes.Technology scares me.I hate socks.Hugs rule.I think I was a cat in my previous life.I believe in ghosts.Goosebumps are an awesome bodily function, so is sneezing and yawning.I could set up camp in any bookstore.I'm going to be famous, I don't know how or why but I am.I'm goofy.I'm as honest and up front as I can be.I don't play head games with people.Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy.I speak very fast and somewhat loudly.I speak louder and faster if i'm drinking or with family.I believe what i'm saying comes across more clearly if I talk with my hands.I'm Scottish, which explains a lot.Museums are cool places to hang out.I love music.I am a movie addict and can find a movie quote for almost any situation.I enjoy my own company, mostly because it means i'll win every argument.I talk to myself (more frequently than I care to admit).

My Interests

Er, um, I like so many different things that it's hard for me to narrow it down, but here's a few; theatre(all of it, I don't care what genre) Ballet (watching, not dancing,I'm horribly uncoordinated) Museums(any kind)Books (serious addiction to the written word, I am often reading 2 or 3 at a time) live concerts, small ones though local artists in small venues. The best way to be entertained.

Music:

Jazz of all kinds, hip/hop, funk, reggae, classical music (on an extreme scale, I never remember composers but I love the music anyway)latin music (and no, I don't mean Ricky Martin, I mean REAL latin music). Pretty much anyone (past or present) who played on the Warped Tour. I'm very ecclectic.

Movies:

Independent movies, Canadian stuff, Studio Canal and Focus Features release really great stuff. Any movie that'll make me cry is okay in my books and pretty much anything by Tim Burton, he's twisted. I love it.

Television:

Whatever's on. If i'm home and cartoons...lots of cartoons.

Books:

To Kill A Mockingbird is a fantastic book. Stephen King, Jane Austen (yeah, i'm a girl deal with it), I also have a very serious thing for Grimm Fairytales or any fairytales for that matter, am currently on a quest to locate any first edition copies of any of the stories.

Heroes:

Anyone who's willing to put themselves out there and take a chance. But if I really have to choose specifically....Captain Jack Sparrow.
