hey all, yes i'm a drummer. some of the artists i've worked with either live or studio include: alicia keys, brand nubian, slick rick, pharoahe monch, kate havnevik, plantlife, breakestra, orgone, the pharcyde, eddie bo, big daddy kane, lina, tone loc, keystones, z-trip, mickey champion, and the greasybeats. i've played on re-mixes for natsha beddingfield and prince. currently i've been working on some tracks for connie price and the keystones new record and finishing up the long awaited orgone full length as well as recording many tracks for jack splash's productions. some recent highlights: jools holland tv show w/ plantlife, orgone signing to ubiquity, bbc radio maide vale session w/plantlife for gilles peterson's wordwide program and subsequent bbc live in session cd, plantlife video for latest single featuring cee-lo, morning becomes eclectic radio show w/ kate havnevik, orgone's "funky nassau" and "hambone" recieving world wide radio play, winning gilles peterson's worldwide record of the year award, backing the legendary eddie bo for two concerts for katrina, playing funky drummer w/ breakestra for 20,000 mad aussies while on the good vibrations tour..and hanging with the godfather of soul backstage wasn't too bad either, playing the montreux jazz festival, the love box fest, the roskilde fest, transmusicale fest in france, 3 world tours, 2 u.s. tours, and countless uk visits.

i'm very angry with movies right now..but band of brothers and snatch are top notch.

the history channel,dicovery/times channel,cnn...and goddamn it,i'm fascinated by "blow out"...i know,i know..it's horrible..oh, and deadwood rules the world!!

herb cohen's "you can negotiate anything" changed my life;sweet soul music by peter guralnick,chomsky's "hedgemony or survival";"brother ray";memoirs of the second world war winston churchhill;"soulsville the stax story";" roll me over" (probably the best book written about wwII)
