About Me

As you may or may not know, The Camp is a forming national network of independent artists, club owners, radio stations, malls, record labels and product sponsors working together to consolidate, promote, support and beneficially exploit the currently vast but unfocused resources of underground entertainment in the US.
Through the establishment of Camp cells in major and minor cities across the country, we are building an alternative entertainment industry that is capable of generating the same type of revenues (but on a smaller scale) as our major label and entertainment industry counterparts. However one significant exception that separates us from the mainstream industry is our no artist or entertainment entity left behind principle. Regardless of musical or entertainment genre, all artists are welcome provided that said artist, label, management company etc. has a professional level of commercial development or potential.
The Camp wants you and we are touring the country looking for serious performers, entertainment entrepreneurs and artists . With membership in the Camp you have the potential to make the transition from wanting a full time career in the entertainment industry to having it. Also you establish your ability to exist without needing to take whatever industry deal is presented because you now have alternative options that up your negotiating power. Remember its not only who you know that can make or break you in the game, its who knows you as well. Join the Camp and get known.

CAMP Friends,

Thank you all for being so cooperative in expressing your interest in the CAMP. We are very excited about having you all as potential participants in what we believe is history in the making. As we have shared with some of you via meet and greet appearances, phone or e-mail, we are empowering unknown performers to be a part of this pioneering new network that is uniting a still disconnected indie nation. With there being strength in numbers, the up and coming entertainment community is bigger thus stronger than all the signed talent in the industry combined. It's by productively channeling that community with promoters, retailers, product manufactuers, radio etc. that we are on the crest of changing the game.

Now in order to determine how to best serve CAMP members coast to coast, we are coming to a city or town near you this summer. Our set up teams will be recruiting interns and staff to help us run the CAMP cell branch we plant in each city we visit. Just imagine having your own local CAMP branch right there near you. By working with the St. Louis headquarters, our cells can help you be a part of national tours, product sponsorship, national product distribution/sales and possibly making the transition to where your craft is supporting you instead of you supporting your craft.

In the next few days and weeks we will be contacting all of you about when and where we will be to meet and greet you. We want you in the CAMP and look forward to further detailing where all of this is going and how you can be at it's center. All the best my friends,
