Bands like Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Pink Floyd, along with early Electronic acts such as Vangelis and Jean Michael Jarre gave young Daniel a strong premise to build his style upon. After moving over the Pennines to Leeds in 2001, Danny got his degree in Music Technology and never looked backSo what is his style I hear you ask? Well, its difficult to pigeonhole, which is exactly what Danny is all about. In his productions you get sublime melodies, glitchy fx and filthy electronic elements that all merge together into a style all of its own. The strength of his work has been proven with tracks being signed to Big Love, Pop Pop, Openair and Spica Records from Miami, along with getting numerous plays on BBC Radio 1 from Fergie and the Trophy Twins. His latest offering, the Confusion EP, is also due out for general release on Baroque Records in the next few months and is already gathering massive hype around clubland.Through all this success, Danny has been fighting people away with a big stick to get into his studio to take advantage of his engineering talents. Those who were successful include Radio 1s the Trophy Twins and Mixmag Future Heroes Filthy Rich and Matt Cooper. Along with his solo projects he also teams up with Filthy Rich under the psuedo-name 'The Dirty Freaks', with tracks signed to Big Love and PopPop records. This teaming up has led to much success topping online house chartsDanny continues to push the boundaries in his production work; his new project under the pseudonym of Hypha with Matt Cooper focuses on their love for the underground, combining elements of Techno and early Trance records to full effect! Keep your ears peeled for these sounds on a dancefloor near you soon, and be prepared to embrace the future, as this is the sound of things to come!
