The Noise From Underground started being shaped between 1998 and 1999 from an idea of Mario and Ignazio, who are deeply influenced by the rough guitar reefs performed by Stooges and the decadent poetry of Velvet Underground.
In Milans North suburbs, in small rooms, dissonant chords were shaped, with sung, yelled, wild notes
At first Noise From Underground were composed by Marta Tagliabue voice -, Franco Dioniso bass and Leonardo Andreotti drums -, who was replacing the former and always-inspired drummer Daniele Poggiremembering the drum and its INSOSTENIBILE CANTO (damned and innocent song)
During the first concerts, held at B52 and Crossroads (now called again Indian Saloon), Noise From Underground performed their own tracks and covers of Velvet Underground (thanks to the magic of Martas voice) and the inevitable icon of No Fun or The passenger (Iggy Pop).
Then in 2000 Noise changed again with the arrival of Zama as bassist and Mario who became the lead-vocal.
The music started loosing its melodic influence and became the essence of disorder. Moreover rivers of alcohol started to run in studios or on the stages of clubs and pubs causing dislike in some owners and perhaps (or quite certainly) also in some clients!!!
Two demos were produced in 2001/2003, because 2002 witnessed Zamas temporal split from the band and Noise experienced a new bassist: Liz.
But then Zama came back and he felt even more inspired than before. (thanks Primus)
In 2002 Mario had enough time to work to his mini/project present for a lost love while Leo, collaborating with thousands of groups, spent his nights in concerts.
After having retuned to work together, Noise created stacks of new tracks, impromptu performances of different genres, concerts and binge drinking (ask to Saloon of Artists, Stalingrado or Frida).
Then we come to nowadays: Noises repertoire is full of new tracks, the nights are scheduled (they are not many, but theyre enough) and a great lust for fun!!!!
The Noise From Underground means a wall full of sounds and reefs that can be screamed, sung or talked. These sounds are important because they are lived from behind, through the evenings that lead to the dawns, they are the most painful and paranoid ideas, no matter where they are real or artificial.
Noise are everything beyond all this.
