Hiking, reading, music, writing my stories and poems, traveling and just enjoying life and all the wonderful friends and family I have.
I'd like to meet:
All my old friends and some of their friends!
Music:
Oh the list is endless...Tori Amos, Morphine, Paddy Casey, Chilie's, Metalica, Concrete Blond, Lynard Skynard, Van Morrison, The Smiths/Morrissey, Indigo Girls, Pink Floyd, The Clash, Ramones, Zeppelin, Live, Garden State Soundtrack, Fugazi, Tool, L7, Metalica, anything classic rock and some seriously weird international music ranging from Russian Rock, Gypsy, Turkish to Irish Folk and anything in between...My music collection is now so big every time I move (which we all know is a lot) it requires its own separate van:)
Movies:
Too many and you probably haven't heard of them, I'm a foreign film junkie! And yes I'm also a serious ....ary fan...I know what a geek, but I don't care!
all of Andrei Tarkovsky's films ie Nastolgia , Kieslowski films ie. Double life of Veronique, Music from Another Room, Breakfast at Tiffany's and most anything Audrey Hepburn, Ingmar Bergman films, Dazed and Confused, Garden State
I do miss so many of the 80's movies...got to love it so cheese!
Television:
Well don't really watch much, but John Stewart and the Colbert Report. I do or did like ER, Shameless, Will and Grace, Lost (of which I am totally lost in..dam you can't miss any), Gilmore Girls, That 70's Show, 2 Pints, Sugar Rush, Father Ted (Brilliant!), CSI, Law and Order SVU, American Dad, Friends (but I'm getting over it now...way over played)
Books:
Oh the list is way too long, I so love to read...Anything biographical, historical or political...basically I am a realist! I also love poetry. Scary as I am I've even read War and Peace...got a nice arm muscle too while reading it! 'The Alchemist' and highly recommend it. Read Ending Slavery, Disposable People, The Natasha..s, Sold and Selling Olga at the moment if you want to be slapped into reality about sex trafficking!
Heroes:
Too many...
Anyone who fights for justice, human rights or to end poverty wins my vote! There are a lot of unsung hero's out there...The little guy who still keeps trucking and doesn't forget the even littler guy's. My Grandpa sure makes the list!
