I'm a professional bass player/teacher residing in Minneapolis MN. I play bass for G.B. Leighton - the hardest working rock band in the upper Midwest.
Prior to joining G.B. Leighton I was a member of the Twin Cities legendary R&B/Horn band Mick Sterling & The Stud Bros from 2001-2004. I have also appeared with Mary Cutrufello, Rick McGuire, Murali Coryell, The Lamont Cranston Blues Band, The Rolling Blunder Revue, Debra Soule, Tom Hunter, Pete Kavanaugh and Soulvation. I recently played at the 2006 Bayfront Blues Festival backing up the Ruf Records Blues Caravan, a collaborative project featuring Ian Parker (UK), Aynsley Lister (UK) and Erja Lyytinen (Finland).
I currently teach private lessons at Jim Harms' My Music Store in Golden Valley MN (763-525-0311). My focus is upon fundamental concepts: bassline construction, stylistic interpretation, music theory and reading.
