About Me

Tom Bard is a keyboard player/songwriter/aspiring producer who has had the good fortune to perform with a wide range of very talented artists. His pursuits have allowed him to perform in 27 states and the Virgin Islands and he is very grateful to list "Musician" as his profession.After a number of years touring, he decided to settle down, and with his wife and son, took up residence in a Minneapolis suburb. He currently performs as half of "The Bill & Tom Show," an acoustic duo specializing in 70's One Hit Wonders and continues to write and record.Tom formed a rewarding songwriting partnership with Brett Carlson and in 2006 released "Romanticide" under the band name "A Year of Mondays." The album featured Brett and Tom in the company of Scott Wenum, Raven Wolfe, and the Legendary Jim Carey.Other independent releases include: Impact (Welcome to the Wild Kingdom)in 1989 and The Vernells (The Vernells) recorded with Bruce Young in 1996.He's produced demos for Martin Zellar protege Ali Gray, and a Unisong award winning song (Mindful) for Nikki Frizzell. Tom has also performed keyboards (credited as Buzz Brady...long story) on albums by GB Leighton (Come Alive & Live @ Pickle Park), El Camino (Dead Art), Nick Hensley (Love Songs For Angry Men), The Billy's (All American Lounge), Michael Nelson (The Hunting Years), Reynold Philipsek (The First Hundred Years...are the roughest), Lee Rude (Here It Comes), Charlie's Cafe (Charlie's Cafe), Nobody's Poet (Nobody's Poet), The Dust Bunnies (Lovely Parting Gift), Pictures Of Lily (Pictures Of Lily), Gin House Jed (Go Out Happy), and Jeffery James Sutherland (The Whisper Of My Shadow & Sunday In The Country) among others.
