Natalie Murphy

I began playing violin when I was four years old: I was a Suzuki kid.

In middle school, quite by chance, I discovered the fun that is created with improvisation. I started playing with a friend's local sibling pop/rock band, The Abdomen, and expanding my musical horizons.

High school brought my first experiences with song writing, studio work, and lead singing. I also dabbled with piano and guitar, and continue to do so.

I have a horse named Cisco Kid, but I have never tried to ride and play violin at the same time. (People ask me that a lot) Maybe that will be my next goal.

I just joined Minneapolis-based G.B. Leighton , and have high hopes for the upcoming months and shows.
