I'M JUST LIKE YOU...we go through highs and lows in life and here we are today, hopefully taking it a day at a time! Geez I can get overwhelmed so easily and have to keep giving my anxieties and cares back to God. I don't have all the answers, but the Lord Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I do my best as an imperfect person on a wacky planet to serve our God. I hope HE's your God, too. I don't know how anyone makes it without faith in someone higher than themselves. Well, My wife, Rosanna and I moved to WI from CA 4 years ago. I was an actor in Los Angeles and worked part time in radio. ( I managed restaurants as well when I needed a "real" job) I played a Dr. on General Hospital, several small roles on Network TV shows, did commercials and hosted an Awards show in Hollywood a few times. LA is a hard place to live, especially being a Christian. The smog, traffic, and cost of living are out of control, and after many years I found my life lacking quality, except for the friends I had. Society seems to want to condition you to want more, or at least something OTHER than what you already have in yoiur life. Rosanna and I moved from a crowded, rude area of the country to a beautiful small town (we DO have 6 Starbuck's tho!) It's safer here, easier to afford, slower pace...I could go on. Life is funny, challenging, good, tough; life is a gift. Sometimes I'm unhappy but I try to stay joyful. I try not to base my outlook on circumstances OR other people's success. I want as few regrets as possible when I reach the other side, and some days I long for HEAVEN more than others. How about YOU?

My Interests

Other than laughing with Rosanna, I enjoy getting together with FRIENDS. I get energized around people. You can have too many friends on myspace but not in real life. Through the tough times and some of the crap we have to endure on this planet, real friends are there when you need them. (Oooh... did I say, "crap"?) When you need comfort, peace, wisdom or strength, NO BOOK HAS ENCOURAGED ME MORE THAN THE BIBLE. Don't believe the lie that it's too hard to understand. If you can read then you can "get it". No excuses, just read it for yourself! SPORTS, participating in some and watching others. The Green Bay Packers. CHURCH - Transparent relationships and a sense of COMMUNITY are very important to me. I love to TRAVEL and have been all over these great United States of America. Would love to go to Italy, Greece, and the Holy Land one day!

I'd like to meet:

Believing in my heart and knowing in my faith I'll meet Jesus in person when my life on this earth is finished, meeting some saints of old will be radically cool! St. Francis, Peter, Oswald Chambers, Jim Elliot, Martin Luther. I'm also looking forward to a heavenly family reunion as many mambers have gone .. me, including my 24 year old sister, Lynda. Here on earth, I'd also like to meet Billy Graham, Brett Favre, George W. Bush, Amy Grant, James Dobson, Bill O'Reilly, and I think maybe meeting Paul McCartney would be cool.

Music:

I could easily name many! Earth, Wind & Fire, Kansas, Styx, Paul Mc Cartney; Audio Adrenaline, Rich Mullins, Dave Crowder, Downhere, Newsboys, Mercy Me, Matt Redman, Toby Mac, Stellar Kart. In my opinion, Christian music is the best - it doesn't pollute my mind, but I grew up on what we now call "Classic Rock". I like the oldies when I'm in the mood, instrumental worship or smooth jazz at times, but you can't beat the purpose and focus of Christian music...and I don't mean those who try and write catchy commercial songs and make money off of Jesus. You can tell when it's real. Oh, and I absolutely love CHRISTMAS music!!

Movies:

I love a good movie and appreciate the art and entertainment value as much as anyone else...BUT, Hollywood isn't looking out for your best interest, $$$Money is number 1. So often they're pushing an agenda or seeing how much junk they can put in a film, hoping to desensitize the American public even more! I enjoy great acting and quality films, yet often the Oscars snub the good ones time after time. I don't have time to watch meaningless awards shows. To them, if it doesn't contain hyper-progressive ideas, moral controversy, anti-government, drugs, homosexuality, profanity, nudity, excessive violence, (exceptions: Braveheart, Passion of the Christ, Schlindler's List, etc.) then it doesn't get as much promotion and recognition! This is CRAP and you KNOW what I'm talking about! PLEASE don't support the wrong movies - the only thing that will get thru to Hollywood is numbers/$$ at the Box Office. Wanna make a difference? Only go to good films. Check out PluggedInonline.com for reviews. Use word of mouth & email to tell friends!

Television:

The Office! Fox News Channel, Scrubs, The O'reilly Factor, Extreme Makover Home Edition, Americal Idol (NEVER thought I'd put that), Everybody Loves Raymond, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Green Bay Packer games (when they win!), Seinfeld reruns.

Books:

I LOVE reading but am such an incredibly slow reader. It would help if I didn't pick such deep, meatty books to digest. A MUST Read is CULTURE WARRIOR by Bill O' Reilly! I currently have about five books with markers in them, one of them I started a few years ago.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ; my Dad, sister Lynda, (both waiting up in heaven), my Mom - constantly serving - does so much for others; My wife who endured hell growing up and is a beautiful, broken work in progress; Billy Graham, Rich Mullins, American Soldiers/Armed Forces, St. Francis, Dr. James Dobson, Mother Theresa, Keith Green, Pastors, Missionaries, & other unappreciated servants of God. Lots more!
