I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

First and foremost I am a DJ from South Africa. I have a massive passion for music, especially electronic music. I started DJing about 8 years ago, and at the time it was more of a hobby and social thing with buddy's. But as time went on I got more serious about the art of mixing and playing music for others, so I decided it was high time to get more involved in South Africa's rising clubbing scene. At the early stages of my DJ career I was heavily influenced by all the usual artists of the late 90's. Faithless stands out, as well as Armand Van Helden, Paul Johnson, Erick Morillo, MAW and a few of our local DJ's like Fresh and G Force. It was then that deep house grew to be my favourite form of music. Soulful, chunky, emotional deep anything actually. But since then I have delved into more prime stuff like the 'jackin' music you hear coming out of Chicago. There's some great work being done over there right now and most of the Producers there are my favourite. But generally I'm an easy going music fundi...who'll probably bore anyone with a 100% communicada on music!
