beezkat

beezkat is a dance band. Well that’s how we started, playing live, loud and improvised music at parties.Our name is onomatopoeic, and refers to the frenetic sound of the beat that underlies our music. If you try and sing a disco beat [oh go on] it goes beez- kat x 100. The beez being the hi hat and the kat being, well the kat. We also like bees and cats.Our album is called Seriously Swimwear. We are influenced by many things; from electronic noises and rock to minimalism and disco. Our live show has been described as a miasma of crunching dance punk.
