As You Are, I Once Was; As I Am, You Will Be

About Me

I live in the middle of Fogville with my wife Jess Hutch (a fantastic artist in her own right) and a teenage cat, ride the train to work in the morning, and have too many boxes of moldy comic books and yellowed punk fanzines. I like to draw a lot. I focus most of my attention toward jeffheermann.com , the Art in Haste blog, and my Flickr and deviantART galleries. Feel free to check 'em out if you want to see more.

My Interests

Jess Hutch, painting, drawing, pen-and-ink illustration, mid-century design, scratchy punk rock 45s, low-budget monster/SF movies, Penny Dreadfuls and Shilling Shockers, backgammon, obscure San Francisco folklore, Thai iced coffee, rural thrift stores, artery-blocking Italian meals, the first Damned record, old signage, EC Comics, blue-collar dive bars, playful kittens, quiet evenings at the drawing board
