About Me

I am rarely here, but figured now that I have over 15 friends I should fill out some of this stuff. My passion is fine art photography, although my job in marketing pays the bills. Unbeknownst to them, my family is the basis for the majority of my work - good thing they are on the east coast! I live to see art in the flesh, whether it be in a gallery, museum, warehouse space, a small room in the back of a bookstore, in a comic book, on the silver screen, on a building or for sale on the sidewalk. Art that speaks to or of the human condition sparks my interest most, but I have some favorite artists who deal with other topics as well. I've been taking Static Trapeze classes at the Circus Center for about a year. I still suck, but I am having a blast, regardless of the bruises in strange places, sandpaper palms, and the constant achy muscles.

My Interests

punk rock, fine art photography; the never-ending treasure hunt for old photos at thrift stores, flea markets, etc; trying to nail the static trapeze; obsessively working out so I can nail static trapeze tricks; underground comics; iguanas (I miss my Clarence!); daydreaming; reading; art shows; pinball; hanging out; chocolate – oh so yummy; sharing ridiculous stories with my wonderful ridiculous roommate; yaddah, yaddah, yaddah

Music:

Yes! I live for punk rock - need I say more?
