ON A BUSINESS TIP: I own a street marketing firm, YBR Promotions, based in San Francisco. My predominant clients are record labels, clubs, event production companies, musicians, visual artists, galleries, film companies, etc. My job includes promoting musicians, DJ's, film-makers,etc. I enjoy assisting in event production with my clients, especially festivals like ATP (All Tomorrow's Parties; especially the one curated by Modest Mouse!!!!) Coachella, Van's Warp Tour, and Rock the Bells. ********* On a personal tip: I LOVE MUSIC! All of it! And I love the combination of visual art and music. I love revolutionary and mind-expanding music more than I like or appreciate anything else. I love film and watching the craft of acting. I hope one day to create the space in my life to focus solely on my creative masterpiece... * I love traveling to exotic lands & foreign countries (especially Bali with Jeremy, Thailand with Dan, and Central America with Buddy-Panama was crazy! ) * I like reading and writing, shooting photography, making visual collages and musical compilations, daydreaming, stand up comedy, meeting new people, rocking out to a wide spectrum of music, spending quality time with a friend, tasting well-prepared food, the theatre, and keeping my clients happy and their projects successful. Playing with Dog Boy.Hmmm...today my interests include the following: I like making a red velvet heart-shaped cake for my boyfriend, writing in my journal, remembering the past, remembering my dreams, reading outdoors, putting together exotic bouquets of flowers at my local flower shop, drinking wild flower tea, walking through the city, paddleboats, riding my bike through the Mission and along Embarcadero. I love my creme fraische homemade ice cream sundae with hot fudge and marcona almonds from Bi-Rite Ice Creamery. I like playing tennis with my favorite clown. Staying home and making bicycles built for two. I love escaping from SF only to run back again out of a codependence for my great love of the bay. Love camping, especially combined with a geographically diverse roadtrip. I love, love, love to make mixed CD's for my friends. I love to lay on the hood of my jeep and stare up at the stars while listening to Air on A at my cabin...nice fire burning outside. I like BBQ halibut made by my favorite chef with some slammin authenic rice and salad. Yum! I like walking through the rose garden in Golden Gate Park and smelling the Double Delight Roses- they are amazing! The redwoods smell fantastic too. My nose also enjoys the smell of baking pies, lavender, the ocean breeze, smoke from a nearby chimney, freshly bathed skin, the crepe stand at 4am, and the scent of my boyfriend. I'm really down with candy from the 80's. Lemon drops, Now and Laters, Zots, Nerds, Dum Dums, etc. I have a fondness for things that remind me of my childhood and simpler times. I love to walk my dog at night and look up at the man in the moon. I love traveling to exotic lands and discovering new ways of life. I can't say that I love my job more than anything, but I definitely like it a lot. I love my clients and my staff. I really enjoy going to a great party full of elaborate decorations and things to keep ya entertained. I am a genre-whore, I love all, all, all kinds of music. I even caught myself listening to a country station the other day, so its official. I love lots of things....too many to count, so I guess this is where I will leave it for now. peaceout!
