ATTENTION MUSICIANS!! Just because I happen to DJ and I happen to have a Myspace profile does NOT mean that I want to be friends with every indie-rock artist in the world. I've been sent numerous friend requests from different musicians with which I have not been familiar AT ALL. Just sending me an invite to be your "friend" if I don't even know who you are is NOT a good way to get free publicity. On the contrary, it's a really good way to piss me off. If you are a musician looking for free publicity, and I do not already know you as a friend in real life, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ADD ME AS A FRIEND. Now, about me...I am laid-back on the outside yet intensely passionate on the inside. Behind these blue-silver eyes lies a soul still partially frozen in the 80s, with an obsessive love for classic new wave music and really, really old video games (i.e., Atari). In my spare time, I occasionally perform DJ work for parties, and Im working on producing my first electronic album. Im a big fan of remixing, graphic design, films, poetry (which I regularly perform at the Gypsy Coffee Shop), and my fiancee.THE FOLLOWING MUSICIANS HAVE DECIDED TO ATTEMPT TO "FRIEND" ME WITHOUT EVEN BOTHERING TO SEND A MESSAGE BEFOREHAND. SOMEHOW, THEY HAVE SOMETIMES BEEN ABLE TO DO IT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE "Block Friend Request From Bands" checked in my Privacy Settings. SINCE I DON'T KNOW WHO THE FUCK THEY ARE, THEY HAVE WASTED MY TIME WITH THEIR FRIEND REQUESTS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR: DON'T CHECK OUT THEIR MUSIC, DON'T BUY THEIR ALBUMS, AND DON'T PAY TO SEE THEM LIVE. IN OTHER WORDS, DON'T LET MYSPACE SPAMMING PAY OFF FOR THEM. THANKS...
