I love to cook and bake whenever I get a chance. I also enjoy going out to eat and fine red wine. I try to travel as much as I can and I enjoy sampling the local food and wine wherever I go. I am a workaholic, so I do not allow myself a lot of down time. When I get a chance, I do enjoy reading on planes and before bed. I love going to the spa and relaxing but it is far and few between the times that I am able to do this. I love to garden and landscape wherever I live. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I like a wide variety of music. Some of my favorites are Tchaikovsky, the Grateful Dead, Jet, Pearl Jam, the Beatles, the Dixie Chicks, Jewel, Neil Young, Dean Martin, Tori Amos, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, Tracy Chapman, Eminem, etc...
I am not big on movies. I am only compelled to see a few movies a year although I am often dragged to see more than I would desire to. I would much rather read a book.
If I had it my way, I would not have a tv. I find myself attracted to a tv when it is on in a public place, but I find that I get more done in life without one. I don't seem to miss it when it is gone either.
I love to read. My favorites are classics, historical fiction, and science journals.
