The Cheatin' Buzzies is a band comprised of family members Jen Knapp (Vocals and Guitar), Robb Kopp (Drums), Darin Driscoll (Bass and Vocals), and close friend Bruce Carter (Guitar and Vocals). After years of making music with other people, this tight-knit group formed in the Summer of 2005. Since that time they have played various shows in the Northern California region-headlining weekend club shows in their local area as well supporting regional touring acts. The Cheatin' Buzzies recently wrapped up production on their self-titled LP-independently recorded and mixed in Nevada City, California with the mastering done by Chicago based Carl Saff. Recording of the band's second full length effort is slated to begin in September. The Cheatin' Buzzies blend the musical flavors of many styles including rock, punk, alternative, and country.
