About Me

Started playing guitar at age 13, then practiced 6 hours a day for the next five years. Graduated high school, and started touring as a night club top 40 guitar player for 9 years. After living out of a suitcase most of that time, I went back to college and got a computer programming degree. 22 years later I run a digital video computer repair/consulting business with several studios, Oscar winners and director/producers for clients.About 8 years ago I decided that my guitar tone wasn't being met by my current guitar amp gear, so I decided to make my own tone. Now I make incredible sounding amps & speakers under the Southbay Ampworks name and the Scumback Speakers, which are used on every habitable continent on the planet, and are gaining popularity with several guitarists, Josh Smith and Kirk Fletcher, among others.I'm married to a great lady who indulges my quest for the best guitar tone, and vintage Gibson guitars. We have a pit bull and a cat that tear up our home chasing each other around. We like to travel to exotic locations, and do fun things together. No kids, never wanted any, I remember how unruly I was as a teenager playing guitar and chasing girls!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, guitarists, golfers, and people who like to have fun. Life is too short to spend it griping about the past, get over it, resolve it and move on.
