The Privies are a new Rock band out of San Francisco, California. Their sound is best described by throwing The Doors in with The Clash into a blender on high. It's a mix of Classic Rock, Rockabilly and old school Punk. Their songs thrive on dark lyrics sung over poppy melancholy melodies. Imagine what might happen if Neil Diamond, Angus Young, Mike Ness of Social Distortion and Jim Morrison formed an all original new band in the 21st century!
The band has performed all over the San Francisco Bay Area at venues such as The Great American Music Hall, 12 Galaxies, Hotel Utah, Blakes on Telegraph and the Rockit Room just to name a few.
The Privies full length debut album, "you have the right!" is being released in the summer of 2008. The album will be available through our website and Myspace as well as for digital download on many of the most popular download sites such as Amazon, iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic and Napster.
