Blue Lotus Dance Collaborative is a Middle Eastern dance (belly dance) company located out of Salt Lake City, Utah. BL is made up of seven highly skilled dancers who peform locally and nationally at Middle Eastern and alternative venues. They perform locally as a staple of Salt Lake City night life in private clubs and restaurants. The City Weekly recognized them in their "Best of Utah" addition in 2005 for an award deemed "Shake What Your Mama Gave Ya". They most recently worked on collaborative events with COSM Breaks and Koteba as well as Shekere Dance Company (West African Dance) and Tablado Dance Company (Flamenco Dance).Blue Lotus is available for public events and parites as well as Middle Eastern dance instruction in Salt Lake City.
