BIO:
Currently the Production Director at www.afterhours.fm and host of Global Trance Sessions, DJ XTC has combined his 11 years knowledge of mixing, promotions and audio production skills to bring out the best of new and classic progressive trance to a world wide audience. DJ XTC has worked with and collaborated with some of the top DJ’s/Producers/Artists in productions at afterhours.fm, which includes Sander Van Doorn, Blake Jarrell, Ronski Speed, and Sean Tyas just to name a few.
In 2005 DJ XTC released independently his “XTC Radio One” sets which had a “Virus” effect and spread to all corners of the globe, breaking DJ XTC into the world wide scene, and quickly gained a lot of respect from not just his listeners but his peers as well. DJ XTC’s “XTC Radio One” sets can currently be found on any P2P program.
In Early 2006 DJ XTC decided it was time to bring his skillz to the masses, and teamed up with a brand new .. radio station, called afterhours.fm, where part of his responsibility is to scout out new and upcoming talent in the industry.
DJ XTC also worked the club scene from 1996 – 2002 in and around the Niagara Falls area. Spinning at clubs such as Club Xtreme/Club Vibe, Tail Gate Charlie’s, The Daily Planet Party Bar, and was also the resident DJ for Niagara College’s “Afterhours Pub”.
From 1995 – 1996 DJ XTC teamed up with DJ Daz to which they introduced and premiered up and coming talents on the Canadian Airwaves, some of which included Faithless song “Insomnia”. And Laya’s “All of my Dreams”. They quickly gained the respect of label reps/artists/DJ’s and climbed up the ranks to be the top EDM show in the K/W area.
DJ XTC is a people’s DJ. He spins what his listeners want to hear often opening up his shows to listener requests and shout outs, and at the same time, offers up new and up coming talent to make the “perfect” blend for his audience. He often says he’s one of the most approachable DJ’s out there, and that he’s more interested in playing to his audience and connecting with them, then being the first DJ to break out a new tune.
