slackline was created in the spring of 2005 on KRUA , the local college radio station, as a means to provide an alternative to the musical variety of anchorage, alaska. slackline specializes in the best in electronic, downtempo, and nujazz from around the world. in july, the website was launched in an effort to inform the listener about the playlists each wednesday and depth of musical resources on the web. in november of the same year, slackline was recognized and asked to participate in the radiozerogravity project based in milan, italy. check out previously recorded programs of slackline on radiozerogravity.
in October 2006 slackline launched an online radio stream . now, you can definitely take slackline to bed every night.
in September 2007, slackline began as a contributing writer providing record reviews on Properly Chilled , the source for all on downtempo music.
