About Me

In this bio, I (Dave) will sum up the band that is thegroovenectar. About a year ago we (JW) and I were kicked out of our old practice spot because of a little disagreement with the management, and just like that, the band we were in died. So for many, many, months we looked for a new practice place to no avail. One day Jason says to me " We have found a new bass player." I said "but you play the bass." he said " I am going to learn the guitar." I said "ok!" Enter Jason B. with smooth bass lines and a love for music, he was a perfect fit. So we began to write music together and it was good, but something was missing, keys, enter Jason J. who had no experience at all playing piano, so with a crash course in keyboard and piano structure, the man was able to make leaps and bounds on the instrument in just four months. We have always sought to be an instrumental band, I know what your saying in your head about lyric-less music. I have an explanation, Words, Words, Words, you hear them everyday, at home, at work, on TV, Hell, even right now, Words!! So with that being said, why have these words to hang on to if the music moves you without words. The band now is enbarking on a summer tour right now, and with high hopes and a little luck we will be seeing you at a show or many shows for that matter. We really just want to play music and continue to give the best live performance experience that we can. So thank you for reading this and know that it could not happen without YOU! our fans, friends, and supporters!!
