GROUND ZERO is a hardcore band from Novi Sad, Serbia. The band was formed in the autumn of 2001. Since then we have went through several musical and line up changes. In May of 2003 we recorded a demo song “Revolt†which was released by SHCP records label on the “All from the heart†compilation. In 2004 the line up issue was finally settled and so did the music style. In February of 2005 we entered the studio with the intention of recording our debut album but due to an array of problems (the closing of the studio, the theft of our equipment, the lack of responsibility in the band…), the recording and mixing were delayed until February of 2007. In the meantime, in March 2006 we recorded three songs and have released them on the "Possess me EP" which was for promotional purpose only. Finally in April 2007 after a lot of difficulties, efforts and more than two years since the recording began, our debut album “Last Goodbye†has been released. We are recording material for second full lenght now. The story continues…

GROUND ZERO je hardcore bend iz Novog Sada. Bend pocinje sa radom septembra 2001. Od tada bend je prosao kroz nekoliko muzickih faza i nekoliko promena postave. Maja 2003 godine cetvoroclani sastav snima pesmu "Revolt" koja izlazi na SHCP kompilaciji "All from the heart". Tokom 2004 godine pitanje postave i muzickog pravca benda je konacno reseno. Februara 2005. ground zero ulazi u studio i pocinje da snima svoj prvi album na kom ce se raditi jos dugo zbog problema vezanih za studio, kradje opreme i neodgovornosti samog benda. U medjuvremenu marta 2006. bend snima tri pesme i samoizdajemo ih u promotivne svrhe pod nazivom "Possess me EP". Konacno aprila 2007. posle mnogo poteskoca, truda i nesto vise od dve godine nakon pocetka snimanja izlazi "Last Goodbye" LP. Trenutno snimamo materijal za drugi album i radimo nove pesme...
