Violent Chapter

Through all of the four years of high school rockin, Metallac, Alexa, Fat Coja and Ducja werefriends from the class, sharing the same music taste and interests. And just like that, theidea of forming the band came up! This idea was to play punk-rock covers ofworld's famous bands such as Ramones, The Misfits, Offspring, Green Day, NoFX etc. In year2003. the first line up was like this: Metallac(guitar), Alexa (drums), Ducja (bass) and Fat Coja (vocals). Soon after that Ducja left theband and was replaced by Luki , FatCoja's friend from early days and ex-band mate from Bunchovoliez, Luki played bass for a short time, but he was already a guitar player (ex-Bunchovoliez, ex-SUS) so he and Metallac switched instruments. This line up was settled for some time.
About a year after Fat Coja left. Band continued working as a three-piece under the nameof Judy. In winter 2004. Paja from Belgrade's hardrock band Oskar Thomas, joined in as a lead singer and a guitar player in the idea to playmusic of NoFX, Rancid, No Use For A Name, Millencolin, Strung Out and the new band was named2Sounds&Noise... Finally, in february 2005. the band had it's first performance! This show wentpretty good! After that had a few more shows in this line up and started working moreseriously, wich made Paja to step off the band. Again we were back to three-piece and forced tofind another guitarist/lead singer. In summer 2005. Radovan , Alexa's friend joined the band as lead singer andguitar player. On that point it was clear that more serious work is about to come. Band stoppedplaying punk rock & ska and focused on exploring some modernpunkrock/hc styles, started playing songs like AFI, Thrice, The Ataris, Muse... The fewshows were played just before becoming aware of need to separate secound guitar from leadsinging. New, more compatibile guitar player was needed at that point, to perform thestuff we were about to do.
In December 2005, Bambi , a heavy-pearced-hard-corekid from bands If Senses Fear andex-Nothing Left, joined as a rythm guitarist. After his arrival, the band had a few moreshows. On summer 2006. Rasha unfortunatly left the band, just two weeks before band'sfirst studio recording! His place took Marko ,former guitarist and singer of Tears InEyes, which was the birth-moment of Violent Chapter. In this new line-up, band has managedto record an EP within a week and decided to definitely settle up. Untill the end of year2006. band played shows promoting their EP, and did so in 2007. as much on single showswith their friends as on hardcore/punk/metal fests. On summer 2007. Violent Chapter has finished working on the new material, wich, in our hope, will soon be released. So stay tuned with us and with your help and support it justmight turn out to be the right thing...
