Band BoneYard started with work in june, 2001. in Kragujevac, Serbia. Original members were - Tommy69 (drums), Dule (bass), Wookey (guitar), Mimmy (vocals). Original foursome haven’t changed until present day.In a couple of months after, there were first gigs and first demo record - DEMOFOBIA 1. In that days, songs were mostly in grunge/post grunge genre.
Band makes appearence at SH.D.F. (Shumadia Demo Festival) in june, 2002. and takes award for the best young band (Brave Heart Award).
In a following period BoneYard had a lot of concerts in Kragujevac, as well as in other major cities in Serbia.
In the begining of the year 2003, band records demo tape number two - DEMOFOBIA 2, after which band slowly changes it’s sound, and goes more into screamo/emocore.
In novembre, 2004, being one of the most acknowledged bands in the city, BoneYard was called to play big OpenAir concert with band KBO! and Nightshift.
Shortly after that, band was strenghten with a guitarist from another Kragujevac-based band - Truce (Dejan Cukovic - guitar, back vocals).
That lineup recorded demo - HISTORY OF THINGS TO COME., and thanks to that band got into touring thru Serbia with Serbian most listened radio station - Belgrade 202.
In the year 2005, BoneYard played festival GITARIJADA as one of the top 10 demo bands in the country, and for the first time band presents it’s new, modern metal style of music.
Constantly, band continues with studio and concert activities.
In the begining of 2006, band takes place at Demo Masters Battle organized by radio 202, where it takes second place and wins the title of the most perspective band in Serbia.
After that, lineup has changed. Dejan Cukovic was replaced by Ivan Ilic (Darkshines), and after Ivan was replaced by Rogy (LUR).BoneYard is influenced by bands like As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, In Flames, etc.
Band has just finished record of the first EP - THIS RISING DARKNESS, which came into great reviews.
BoneYard is planing to get into the studio and record full-lenght debut album - IN FRONT OF THE TSUNAMI.Current lineup:
