About Me

This page is a collection of everything i've done over the years. I started to be interested in drumming when i was 5 years old. My mom bought me the first live KISS album, and i was completely floored by the drum solo on 100,000 YEARS. The following year in 1976, i heard ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE by RUSH, and it was all over, my mind was made up, i wanted to be a drummer. Two years later, i began taking lessons and have never looked back. My Gear: Ludwig classic maple with red sparkle finish (bought in Sweden 1999) Ludwig super classic maple with mahogany stain finish. (won in a battle of the bands contest 1993) Sabian cymbals, DW pedals. Both of my kits have 14x26 inch bassdrums, and 16x16 and 16x18 floor toms. The super classic has a 14 inch mounted tom while the classic has a 13 inch mounted tom. I have 2 snare drums, a 1970 Ludwig Black Beauty, and a solid oak DW John Craviotto. The ludwig is out of action at the moment, but it makes a really nice music stand! I also use Remo heads and Pro mark sticks. I came to Sweden 8 years ago, and really enjoy living in Europe. It feels like home to me now since I've made a few friends, but that doesn't mean I don't miss the good old USA! I try to get back whenever I can, and one day we will move there for good. But right now, i'm having too much fun and adventure to come home. As of march of this year, I am now a member of a new band called MARULK. We are a classic power trio, and the music is more of my getting back to my '70's roots. It's still heavy, but there's more emphasis on songwriting and overall 'vibe', like all my favorite stuff I grew up listening to. So far, I couldn't be happier with the way it's going, doin' it old school the new way.
