COUNTRY TO THE PEOPLE!

About Me

After the downfall of the mining industry in the little town Bigton Gulch, Halsa county, Tennessee, the remaining inhabitants, mostly working in service businesses, had to find new ways to make a living. In the year 1863 the first lineup of BGTO played their first gig at the local saloon including names as mayor Barry Bigton the first, Bass and Doc Outlaw, reverend Frank Loungbough and Barthelomeus Longhorn. It would not take long before this dubious bunch had to leave their beloved hometown and in April 1864 they reluctantly started a world tour that would last up to precent day. Today, the sons and grandsons of the original bandmembers are the heart and sound of Bigton Gulch Town Orchestra.
